I have been curious about Buddhism for a long time since being interested consciousness studies for many years. I recently found out about SGI, and nichiren Daishonin style of Buddhist practice of chanting after being introduced to it through a friend. We chant: Nam myo ho renge kyo, and Ive found it to be very comforting and helpful for manifesting positive changes in my life so far. I recently joined my local SGI district. Im looking to meet other gay men in Austin that practice Buddhism... not just the type Im into but any kind of Buddhism. I like to learn and grow, and appreciate that quality in the men I seek. I also like the outdoors and doing things like hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, and things like that.
